Our Purpose

An Architect of Impactful Partnerships

Founded in 2014, the CSC is an innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to bring multiple schools, third-party partners and multiple funders together to build the academic and operational capacity of some 60 Catholic TK-8 schools that serve Los Angeles most under-resourced communities.

In collaboration with multiple schools, our unique role is the ability to leverage financial and professional resources and manage projects that foster best practices in: Capacity Building, Learning Experience, Effective Administration, and Parent-Family-Community Engagement.

Theory of Change

At CSC we create and support the conditions necessary that enable healthy school environments to take root and thrive in urban Los Angeles Catholic Schools.

We do this in our role as an architect of impactful partnerships: developing, bundling and managing multi-school initiatives, expert partnerships, and multi-funder support.

Service Areas

Our programs and services are focused on a set of schools in which 70% or more of their families qualify for the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program. Currently, the CSC serves 35 schools and nearly 6000 students in the Los Angeles Archdiocese.

Our goal is to continue to expand our reach to a total of 62 schools, allowing us to positively impact the lives of nearly 13,000 underserved students in urban Los Angeles.

The CSC is proud to earn the highest Candid rating --- the Platinum Seal of Transparency. Providing qualitative information about goals, strategies and vision is a tangible way to demonstrate our commitment to transparency and build confidence among potential supporters.
